PITTSBURGH, PA – AUGUST 26: Ben Roethlisberger /

Start: Ben Roethlisberger

Roethlisberger actually had his lowest fantasy points total of the year against Cleveland in 2016, but the team still won comfortably 24-9. Realistically, the Pittsburgh offense is the play here. In their last six outings against the Browns, they’ve put up 28, 24, 30, 28, 10 and 30 points (the 10 coming in a shocking 31-10 loss in Week 6 of the 2014 season). There’s going to be a lot of fantasy points to go around.

With the return of Martavis Bryant from suspension, the Steelers added another dynamic weapon to the best running back-wide receiver duo in the league in Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown, and all Big Ben needs to do is get the ball in the hands of his playmakers. Cleveland allowed a league-high 36 passing touchdowns last season, and it won’t be a shock if Roethlisberger is able to take advantage of the Browns’ secondary in this Week 1 matchup.

You’ll likely have selected Roethlisberger as a mid-round option in fantasy leagues with a “potential retirement discount”, but he’s going to have a strong season – and is an immediate top 10 starting option as the season begins. I hope you waited on quarterbacks this year, as it’s going to pay off.
