3. Indianapolis Colts

The pressure is on for the Indianapolis Colts this season. They’ve seem to fall of the tracks in the last two seasons. This fanbase is not used to missing out on the playoffs and after two 8-8 seasons, many are starting to question what is going on with the head coach and the front office.

In terms of Week 1 matchups, the Colts should win this game. They are on the road, but head to Los Angeles to face the Rams. The Rams really don’t have much going for them this season. They’ve added in some pieces, but there are still plenty of questions to be answered. Jared Goff will get the starting reigns under center, but from what we’ve seen, it hasn’t been pretty. He’s due for some struggles in his second year.

But as many struggles as the Rams are going to have this season, the Colts seem to be in the same boat. Starting quarterback Andrew Luck will be out and backup Scott Tolzien doesn’t excite anyone. While there are a ton of new additions to the defense, they are still a major question mark. On the offensive side of the ball, the line needs to show they can hold their own, even if starting center Ryan Kelly doesn’t play. It doesn’t have to be a pretty, just enough to get out of the Coliseum with a win.

Depending on how long Andrew Luck is out, setting the team up in good position when he returns will benefit the Colts in the long run this season.
