The Edmonton Eskimos host the Calgary Stampeders at Commonwealth Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 9. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The Calgary Stampeders defeated their provincial rivals Edmonton on Labor Day, 39-18. The two teams play again this week, this time in Edmonton. Calgary’s win last week moved them three points ahead of Winnipeg and Edmonton for first place in the West.

Edmonton started the season with seven straight wins but have lost their past three games. Injuries have taken a toll on the Eskimos as they are reaching the bottom of their depth chart at linebacker and running back. However, help is on the way for the Eskimos. The team re-signed receiver Derel Walker after he failed to make the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Walker played the past two season in Edmonton, recording 2699 yards and 16 touchdowns. With Adarius Bowman healthy and Walker back, life for quarterback Mike Reilly should be a lot easier.

Last season, DaVaris Daniels broke out in the second half of last season, winning Most Outstanding Rookie. This year, Daniels was injured early in the season and struggled to duplicate his success from last season. However, over the past two games, Daniels has 212 yards and two touchdowns. Daniels gives quarterback Bo-Levi Mitchell a deep threat that can take the top off of opposing defenses. Defensively, Canadian linebacker Alex Singleton is having a breakout season that could see him win Most Outstanding Canadian. Singleton ranks second in the league in tackles, recording 13 tackles and a sack last week against Edmonton.
