2. Kenny Golladay

While Marvin Jones was my pick for a wide receiver sleeper against the Arizona Cardinals (and he still got his touchdown), Kenny Golladay stole the show with two scores and proved the preseason hype really meant something. For his first grab, a 10-yarder, he leapt over the defender in the end zone and wrestled the ball away. For score number two, Golladay hauled in a 45-yard ball as he made a spectacular diving grab with two defenders around him. The Lions might have found themselves a superstar.

Golladay, a third round pick this year, burst onto the scene in the first preseason game with a two-touchdown performance after a lot of summer chat about his height-weight-speed potential and he’s already making waves in the regular season – there’s every reason to be excited about what he can do moving forward.

Now, it’s safe to say he’s not going to score two touchdowns every week. In fact, he may be completely quiet next week as the New York Giants will make an effort to turn their attention to him. However, the Lions will throw the ball a lot this year, and Golladay looks to be a huge part of their plans. Find a space for him.
