Christian Kirk

WR, Texas A&M

While Texas A&M appears to be headed for an ugly season, it’s no fault of Kirk, whose draft stock as one of college football’s top receivers is holding steady.

Kirk tallied his first touchdown of 2017 in a six-catch, 47-yard performance to help the Aggies hold off Nicholls State, 24-14. The junior playmaker is still looking for his first huge statistical performance of 2017, but has 134 total yards through two games and is becoming a more effective special teams player on kick returns.

A much-hyped four-star recruit, Kirk lived up to expectations with 1,009 receiving yards and seven touchdowns as a true freshman. Kirk added more to his do-it-all skill set over the next couple of seasons as a lethal threat on punt returns with three touchdowns and a solid 21.7 yards per attempt to go along with his receiving and rushing skills.

As one of the most explosive athletes in college football, Kirk’s name will likely be near the top of every NFL team’s big board. The 5-11, 200 pound wide receiver won’t have the size to rise much further on the big board, but he’s an elite route runner with undeniably terrific production for three years in a row.

Kirk will look for a big performance on Saturday against Louisiana Lafayette before the Aggies enter SEC play.
