Sit: Dez Bryant

They cut it fine, but the Denver Broncos came out with a 24-21 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night. For the most part, they held the offense in check and Philip Rivers’ top receiver on the day (Tyrell Williams) only had 54 yards. When the Dallas Cowboys face the Broncos this weekend, we should expect the outside receivers to have similar problems.

In Week 1’s matchup against the New York Giants, Bryant struggled to find a connection with Dak Prescott and only managed to muster up 43 yards on two catches. This is after a disappointing 2016 campaign, and we’d hope the two would help each other in fantasy football moving forward. Granted, it was against a top corner in Janoris Jenkins, but now he goes up against Chris Harris – another one of the premier defensive backs in the game and a Broncos’ D that led the league against the pass in 2016. This one will be difficult.
Like the aforementioned Alshon Jeffery, I wouldn’t be too worried as he’s just happened to have started the year with two extremely tough matchups, but if you can drop Dez and find a more reasonable matchup for your fantasy options, this would be another week to do it.
