4. Minnesota Vikings at Pittsburgh Steelers

A rare AFC-NFC matchup between these two teams makes for one of the better games in Week 2. The Vikings come off an impressive opening win over the New Orleans Saints, while the Steelers pulled out an unexpectedly close win against the Cleveland Browns.

Surprisingly, the Vikings defense wasn’t the main talking point in Monday night’s win against the Saints, it was the offense. Sam Bradford looked like Dan Marino back in the pocket, tossing three touchdowns on the night. No Adrian Peterson, no problem, for the Vikings. Peterson stood on the opposing sidelines as his replacement Dalvin Cook went for 127 on 22 carries.

It could have been the first game jitters, but the Steelers looked vulnerable against the Browns. Games in the AFC North tend to fare pretty close, but the result for the Steelers was way too close for comfort. Le’Veon Bell looked exactly like someone who held out out the entire offseason, but should be back to his normal self this week.

The matchup between the Vikings defense and the Steelers offense makes this a game worth watching. Can Linval Joseph and the Vikings front-seven get penetration on the Steelers offensive line and make Ben Roethlisberger uneasy in the pocket? I’ll also be excited to watch how Joe Haden matches up on Stefon Diggs. Those two battling it out throughout the game should make for some interesting matchups.
