1. Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons

There’s not a better way to end Sunday than with a rematch of the 2016 NFC Championship. The Falcons won by a landslide last season, routing the Packers 44-21 on their way to a Super Bowl appearance. The Packers defense had absolutely no answer for  Matt Ryan, who solidified his MVP case with 396 yards and four touchdowns.

It’s a now a new season, with new implications. Both teams can solidify a top spot in the NFC with a win.

The Falcons come off a close win against a struggling Bears team in Week 1, but you really can’t take much away from the game. Matt Ryan still threw for over 300 yards and the defense gave up just 17 points, with one touchdown coming late in the fourth quarter. Sunday night’s matchup will be able to tell us a lot more of what we can expect this season. Aaron Rodgers provides a more dangerous offensive threat than Mike Glennon.

While the Packers only scored 17 points, they did it against the best defenses in the NFL. The Seahawks have one of the most complete defensive units that you will see this season. Ever position from the front-seven to the secondary is loaded. It was impressive to see the Packers offensive line hold their own and give Aaron Rodgers time to make plays in the pocket. It wasn’t pretty, but enough to pull out the hard earned win.

This game ultimately comes down to the two men under center. Ryan and Rodgers are both vying for MVP awards this season and when in rhythm, can score points on a dime.

Flat out, this makes for the best game of the week because it’s two of the top two teams in the NFC, who are primed to make deep runs in the playoffs this year. And hopefully, this won’t be the last time we see these two meet in 2017.
