3. Manchester City

Warning to the Premier League and Europe: Pep Guardiola is starting to get it right at Manchester City. Fresh from putting five past Liverpool, free-scoring City netted four times in Feyenoord.

Most encouraging was the increasingly burgeoning partnership between strikers Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus. Both got on the scoresheet, continuing an increasingly prolific run, per Squawka Football:

Having both Gabriel and Aguero up top, is adding greater cutting edge to a team already blessed with an abundance of creative talents in midfield. David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne can thread passes through any defence.

Now this perceptive pair of playmakers have two targets to aim for instead of one. It’s a scary thought for City’s European opponents.
