DENVER, CO – SEPTEMBER 11: Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (28) dives into the end zone for a touchdown during the second quarter of the NFL game between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Denver Broncos in September 11, 2017 at Sports Authority Field in Denver, CO.(Photo by Kyle Emery/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) /

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Chargers (-4.5)

The Dolphins (0-0) finally get into action with new quarterback Jay Cutler at the helm. This is a tough game to pick, because we don’t know what the Dolphins look like, and whether the Chargers (0-1) are any good. Very tough call.

Pick: Los Angeles 23, Miami 19

New York Jets at Oakland Raiders (-15.5)

We’ll keep this short. The Raiders (1-0) are  a good team. The Jets (0-1) are barely a team. This is going to be an epic beating.

Pick: Oakland 37, New York 17

Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos (PICK)

This should be one of the better games of the week. Dallas (1-0) has a tremendous offense, while Denver (1-0) has a stout defense. The real question is whether the Broncos’ offense can score enough on Rod Marinelli’s defense.

Pick: Dallas 23, Denver 21

Washington Redskins at Los Angeles Rams (-2.5)

Sean McVay gets to take on his old team with his new and apparently-improved team. The Rams (1-0) looked good against the Colts, with Jared Goff throwing for over 300 yards in a 46-7 win. Washington (0-1) needs to win this game to keep pace in the NFC East, but that suddenly feels lie a tough ask.

Pick: Los Angeles 26, Washington 21

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks (-14.5)

The Seahawks (0-1) are coming home looking to bounce back from a tough loss. Meanwhile, the 49ers (0-1) are simply trying to get their new program off the ground. Mismatch.

Pick: Seattle 24, San Francisco 13

Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons (-2.5)

This is going to be fun. Atlanta (1-0) and Green Bay (1-0) give us a rematch of the NFC Championship Game with a new stadium being opened in the process. The Falcons have the better roster, but despite the talents of Matt Ryan, it’s hard to go against Aaron Rodgers in this spot.

Pick: Green Bay 31, Atlanta 30

Detroit Lions at New York Giants (-3)

If the Giants (0-1) don’t begin blocking in front of Eli Manning, all the Odell Beckham talent won’t matter when he returns. The Lions (1-0) are a good team with an explosive offense, although this is a very tough test. The Giants have a terrific defense, and it’s a desperate one.

Pick: New York 19, Detroit 17
