4. Chris Ash

Chris Ash made his debut on the hot seat watch last week before his team took on Eastern Michigan. While it is a bit early to put him on here, it is going to be tough for any coach to avoid it if they have back-to-back seasons of two wins or worse.

It has been said time and time again that being in the Big Ten does a school like Rutgers absolutely no favors. However, they joined the conference and it is up to them to be able to compete and build something.

Last week’s game against Eastern Michigan was perhaps one of the best chances for the team to get a win this season. Instead, they ended up dropping a close one and it proved to be yet another loss in the column for their head coach.

This week however has to be the week that Ash and his team get the win. They will play host to Morgan State and this has to be a win. If they drop this game, then it’s hard to say whether or not they will pick up a win this year.
