After a dominant performance against the Colts last week, Los Angeles is welcoming back their best defensive player.

This defense enters the week as the best in the league in fantasy, with two pick-sixes against the Colts. Their next test may not be as easy but still provides opportunity for fantasy points.

The Rams get to travel to our nation’s capital to play Kirk Cousins and the Redskins. The Redskins offense looked out of sync and are still adjusting to life without their top two wide receivers. Their best weapon, tight end Jordan Reed has trouble staying on the field and is dealing with an injury of his own.

The Rams defense, after an amazing performance against the Colts, get their best player back. Aaron Donald has ended his holdout and reported to the team. That disruptive force up the middle should spell trouble for Cousins. Look for the Rams to move around pass rush specialist Robert Quinn to stay away from Washington’s best offensive lineman Trent Williams.

With the constant pressure he should be facing and adjusting to new targets, Cousins could provide the Rams plenty of turnover opportunities. With a nonexistent rushing attack, the pressure the Rams generate will lead to sack and forced fumble chances for this defense.

The Rams defense is again a unit to keep an eye on throughout the season. Especially in an NFC West that is looking to be lacking offensive firepower.
