6. Thomas Rawls

We’ve got two backs in the same backfield as sleepers, and that says a lot about firstly how much I believe the Seahawks will show out against the 49ers, and secondly how unpredictable the Seattle backfield is going to be for most of this season. Even C.J. Prosise could be on this list, but for now he’s the most likely of the group to settle into a third-down and receiving role.

Rawls had a huge breakout season in 2015 where he averaged 5.6 yards per carry, and seemed to have solidified himself as a starter moving forward. However, at the start of the 2016 season, he broke his leg and missed a large chunk of the year. He returned towards the end and did manage a large amount of volume, but couldn’t produce a good return for fantasy owners and lost a ton of fantasy steam. He also missed Week 1 of this season with an ankle injury.

However, Rawls has been listed as the top back on the depth chart this summer and the team is truly excited to get him back. He’s going to get a big workload at some point, whether he’s ready or not this week. The Seahawks need a boost on the ground, and they may decide he is their best option.
