Fantasy football: top 10 waiver wire Week 3 pickups
5. D’Onta Foreman
When we talk about players who may have a huge impact for the rest of the season, Foreman should be considered. I’ve been a huge Foreman believer since he landed in one of the most prime positions for long-term fantasy success in Houston. It’s starting to look like he may have a more immediate impact than suspected, and he showed a glimpse of what he’s capable of with some strong runs against the Bengals last Thursday night.
While Lamar Miller led the team with both 18 carries and 61 yards on the ground, Foreman wasn’t too far behind with 12 for 40. 32 of those 40 came after contact, and many fans and analysts alike want to see more from the powerful third-round pick from Texas. They might not have to wait for too long.
In the preseason, Foreman made some great plays:
He’s a “thunder”-type back while Miller is lightning, and for as long as Deshaun Watson is in, the Texans will want to run the ball as much as possible to alleviate the pressure on their new franchise quarterback. He could be a huge difference-maker moving forward and continue to steal snaps from Miller.
