4. J.J. Nelson

He was one of this fantasy football’s favorite sleeper plays this weekend with David Johnson and John Brown out through injury, and Nelson delivered in a big way. He only hauled in five balls, but they went for 120 yards – and he brought in a huge fourth quarter 45-yard touchdown pass from Carson Palmer. At the end of the Sunday slate, he was leading all receivers in yards, and fourth in fantasy points.

Moving forward, look for Nelson to continue his involvement. Larry Fitzgerald is a Hall-of-Famer, but when he’s the focal point of an attack, teams might find a way to shut him down. Both John and Jaron Brown had their moments of hype over the summer, but neither has been able to come through. The running game looks stale without David Johnson, as Chris Johnson, Kerwynn Williams and Andre Ellington combined for 77 total yards on the ground on 22 carries. Palmer will have to find elsewhere to look.

Through two games, the diminutive third-year wideout has 10 receptions, 163 yards and two touchdowns. He’s definitely a fantasy asset worth owning, and you could comfortably play him as a WR3 or flex at this point.
