Josh Allen

Quarterback, Wyoming

Blake Bortles was drafted to be the franchise quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars for years, but instead, he has worn out his welcome after a handful of seasons. During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Jaguars need to make the decision to turn the page, and this could be the best class to get a true starting quarterback in a while. One of the biggest names in the draft class is Josh Allen, who some believe could be the first arm off the board in April.

Allen has struggled to play big against better competition, but that could be because his offensive line is trash. The bottom line is he has the height, arm strength, and decision making ability to make him a first round pick, but he needs to put it all together. The Jaguars cannot continue to roll with Bortles, as the roster is too good to have such bad quarterback play.

Jacksonville has gotten off to a 1-1 start this season, but they had their doors blown off by division rival Tennessee in Week 2. Bortles showed that he has not grown at all in the position, and it is starting to affect the entire roster. Rookie running back Leonard Fournette is going to be in for a long season if the team fails to muster a passing game, which appears to be the case this season.
