2018 NFL Mock Draft: Jets, 49ers get their franchise quarterbacks
By Brad Weiss
Early on in the 2017 NFL season, it is clear to see that the Baltimore Ravens have one of the best defenses in the league. They have been one of the more impressive teams in the NFL through the first two weeks of the season, and could actually challenge the Pittsburgh Steelers for first place in the AFC North. They have been solid so far, but they need to keep adding quality players if they are going to be a contender year in, and year out.
Quarterback Joe Flacco has proven that he can win big games, but his problem has been getting there. The wide receiving corps in Baltimore are solid right now, but Mike Wallace is starting to get up there in age. They need to bring in some young talent to the unit, and Courtland Sutton from SMU would be a nice addition in April.
This offseason, the Ravens brought in Jeremy Maclin from Kansas City, and he has teamed well with Wallace and Breshad Perriman. Sutton would give the Ravens a true deep threat, while also bringing in another guy who can go over the middle. Flacco has a big arm, and the team needs to keep giving him weapons who can take advantage of that.
