Christian Wilkins

Defensive Tackle, Clemson

If there is one team who could use some help up front on defense, it is the New Orleans Saints. Lets be honest, this Saints team is headed for another sub-.500 season, and that could mean that head coach Sean Payton is shown the door. They need to bring in a playmaker on defense next April, and bolstering their defensive line would be a great place to find just the player.

Christian Wilkins is a freak on the inside for the Clemson Tigers, and has that uncanny ability to disrupt the play on every play. He not only does a nice job in clogging up the middle against the run, but he is also very good at getting pressure in the quarterback’s face. The Tigers have been one of the best teams in the country over the past few seasons, and Wilkins is one of the bigger reasons why.

This season, Wilkins has anchored the Tigers defense, and has them as arguably the best team in the country. One thing is for sure, Clemson has the best defensive line, as Wilkins has teamed with Dexter Lawrence to give them a dominating front. He is going to be an early first round pick next April, and the Saints would be a perfect spot for him to land, and help them battle against these high-scoring NFC South teams.
