Mike McGlinchey

Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

The New York Giants made it back to the playoffs for the first time in five years in 2016, but the start to the 2017 season has not been a good one. They look lost on offense, and it is due to the fact they may have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. Left tackle Ereck Flowers is a joke at that position, and the team should look to bring in his replacement next April.

That player should be Mike McGlinchey, who could have been the top offensive lineman prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft. McGlinchey decided to return to South Bend for another season, and is one of the best in a offensive lineman-heavy 2018 draft class. Some believe he is the better prospect than Connor Williams of Texas, but we like him going in the middle of the first round to New York.

With guys like Odell Beckham Jr., Sterling Shepard, and Evan Engram, the Giants offense should shred teams through the air. However, quarterback Eli Manning never has time to throw, which leads to them being easy to stop. Bolstering their offensive line has to be priority No. 1 next offseason for the Giants, and it all starts with getting one of these elite prospects in the first round.
