3. Miami Dolphins (-6) at New York Jets

While it’s normally not a good play to swallow nearly a touchdown on the road with the Miami Dolphins, the New York Jets are horrendous. Miami and New York are AFC East rivals, but the Dolphins are a borderline playoff team and the Jets will be lucky to have two wins this season.

It’s been an interesting last few weeks with the Dolphins due to Hurricane Irma postponing their home opener versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Miami won’t play Tampa Bay until Week 11 and won’t host its first home game at Hard Rock Stadium in until October.

That being said, quarterback Jay Cutler looked solid in his first game back from retirement. He and head coach Adam Gase have a great rapport. Look for the Dolphins passing game to take flight against a Jets defense that gave up 45 points to the Raiders on the road in Week 2.

The Dolphins should win this game easily, so try to get them laying as little points as possible. New York might be an underdog in every game the Jets play this year. Swallow the points with the Dolphins as long as the line does not exceed 10. Anything in single digits should be a comfortable spread that Cutler, Gase and company should cover.
