DeShone Kizer $5000 vs Indianapolis Colts

When in doubt, turn to the quarterback facing the Colts. This week the Cleveland Browns and rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer get the honor.

Kizer has not played very well in his first two games. The Ravens and Steelers, Kizer’s first two opponents, are two of the better defenses in the league. The Ravens were able to force Kizer into three interceptions.

Lucky for him, and the Browns, the Colts are the polar opposite of those two teams. The Colts have allowed 650 total passing yards in their first two games. Their opponents during those games were the Cardinals without David Johnson and the Los Angeles Rams.

The Browns, bolstering one of the better offensive lines in the league, should be able to keep Kizer up right and allow him to produce in this game. The Colts have only been able to get one interception in their first two games, coming from their first round pick Malik Hooker.

Kizer is developing a rapport with some of his young weapons. A pair of former Miami Hurricanes, Duke Johnson and David Njoku, should see a big game to help Kizer out.

The Colts continue to look lost, especially on defense. Kizer, at $5000, only the 24th-ranked quarterback, should drastically outperform that price tag.

Runner up:

Carson Wentz $5900 vs. New York Giants

Carson Wentz can use Week 3 to rebound from two bad performances last year against the division rival Giants. This year the Giants defense looks like a totally different unit than the one that led the league last year.

The Eagles were able to help Wentz out this offseason with new weapons. Pair those weapons with a healthy offensive line and the Eagles are looking towards the playoffs.

The Giants are 0-2 coming off two terrible performances against the Lions and Giants. Wentz can be the next quarterback to perform well against them.

The second year quarterback is coming off of two games above 300 yards and two touchdowns in each. If he can knock those interceptions down (one in each game) then he is in for a big day.
