No Mercy is coming up on Sunday night, and here’s how you can tune into the event and who to pick for each match to look smart with all of your friends.

WWE has a solid show coming up in No Mercy on Sunday night, and fans are getting a treat with the equivalent of two main events on what many thought would be a throw away show.

Not many know what will really end the show, but the hot topic on RAW over the last few weeks has been the feud between John Cena and Roman Reigns. The two have traded endless, real shots on the mic over the last few episodes of RAW, and now they’ll finally get the chance to do battle in the ring in a match worthy of a WrestleMania main event.

Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar will look to continue his reign as Universal Champion, and he’ll defend his title for the third time since winning it at WrestleMania in April in a match against Braun Strowman. Strowman has looked great recently, and it’ll be interesting to see if he can pull off the upset against The Beast Incarnate.

Match predictions

WWE Universal Championship match

Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman

Prediction: Everyone thought Brock Lesnar was on his way out from WWE and a lock to lose the Universal title back in August during SummerSlam, but here we are one month later with The Beast Incarnate still holding onto the belt. If there was ever a time for him to lose the belt, it would’ve been back in August, and it looks like Lesnar will be holding onto the title for a long time. Even with how strong they’ve built Braun Strowman to look recently, it’s tough envisioning him as the one to end Lesnar’s reign, especially at No Mercy of all events.

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns

Prediction: This match should really be headlining a WrestleMania, but I guess acting as a co-main event for No Mercy is also a decent way to book it. The two have been solid on the mic over the last few weeks, and it looks like they’re milking Cena for all he’s worth before an eventual departure for a while. If that’s the case, it looks like Reigns will be the last man standing in his yard when Sunday night wraps up.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (c) vs. Sheamus and Cesaro

Prediction: Their reign just began a month ago at SummerSlam, and having Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins leading the tag team division for a while is the smart move. We’ll likely get one of the two betraying each other eventually, but No Mercy isn’t the place to do it. This one should be a fun match, but the champions should retain here.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Prediction: This match is pretty…unappealing. We’ve seen plain Finn Balor against Bray Wyatt before, and we’ve seen The Demon King against The Eater of Worlds. This won’t be anything special, and I guess we’ll see Balor come up on top in an uneventful match.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship match

Neville (c) vs. Enzo Amore

Prediction: Enzo Amore just isn’t really doing it for me in the Cruiserweight division, but this match is at least a little intriguing to look forward to on Sunday. They don’t like Enzo backstage, but they may need a “star” like him to hold the belt for a bit and to bring a spotlight to the division, despite Neville’s great run. My heart says Neville, but my brain and gut say Enzo.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship match

Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma vs. Bayley

Prediction: This match could go pretty much every way possible, except for Emma coming out on top. Bliss’ reign is still young, but this women’s division has turned into a game of hot potato recently that no one can predict. I see Bliss stealing one, but wouldn’t be surprised at a Banks or Bayley win, either.

WWE Intercontinental Championship match

The Miz (c) vs. Jason Jordan

Prediction: Jason Jordan is still very young in this whole scene, but he’s put on some great matches with Finn Balor, John Cena and Roman Reigns recently. The Miz should be no exception on this list, and I see the champion retaining in his typical heel fashion to retain the title and get this feud rolling onto the next PPV.
