Final Predictions

Simply put, the Georgia defense will be too much. They’ve been absolutely dominant thus far and I don’t think they forget how to be good in Knoxville this weekend.

Butch Jones and Tennessee have far greater problems this season and I don’t think they’ll be able to solve them by this weekend. The Volunteers’ defense won’t stop the run and that’ll allow Georgia’s Jake Fromm to set up the pass and have an efficient day.

The Bulldogs have all the momentum coming into this matchup and have the better coach in Kirby Smart. Their confidence is sky high after their huge win at home last weekend and it’s time they prove they’re in the National Championship conversation.

Tennessee’s at home, so it’ll mean that they can have a strong start behind their home crowd, but their defense and inconsistent play at quarterback will eventually derail them.

SportsBookReview has this as a 6.5-point game in favor of the Bulldogs currently and I think it could be even worse than that for the Volunteers.

Fromm, Chubb, Michel and Godwin will be too much for the Volunteers defense to handle. On the flip side, the Bulldogs’ defense will try to pitch a shutout in Knoxville.
