Tarvarus McFadden

Cornerback, Florida State

The New Orleans Saints are off to another slow start to the season, and all signs point to them finishing below .500 for the fourth consecutive season. On the offensive side of the ball, the Saints can score with anybody, as Drew Brees is still an elite quarterback in the league. However, they are struggling once again to get stops, especially in the passing game.

With their first pick next April, the Saints should look to bring in a cornerback to lead their unit. This draft class has some incredible talent at that position, and Tarvarus McFadden is as good as anybody out there. He has teamed with Derwin James to give the Florida State Seminoles an elite secondary, and both player should go early in round one.

New Orleans is going to make wholesale changes after this season, and that could include head coach Sean Payton. The Saints are just no longer a real threat in the NFC South, and while they will have their fair share of wins, their time atop the division is long gone. The team invested so much money in Brees, which is making it hard for them to put a decent roster around him in recent seasons.
