Vita Vea

Defensive Tackle, Washington

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were an early favorite to get to the playoffs this season, boasting one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. However, after blitzing the Chicago Bears in Week 2, they looked absolutely lost in their Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. It is clear they need help on the defensive side of the ball, and that includes their defensive front.

Vita Vea is a solid interior lineman, who would fit in nicely with the Buccaneers defensive scheme. Not only can he clog up the middle better than any player in this draft, he also has been known to give quarterbacks fits in the passing game. He has incredible feet for a player his size, and could give the Buccaneers what the need on the inside of their defense.

Tampa Bay is super-talented, so it is likely they will not be picking this early in round one. However, they are also young, especially at quarterback, so they may be one year away from being a playoff contender. They went out and brought in players to help them win now, but if Week 3 is any indication, they are still going to be going through some growing pains.
