Josh Rosen

Quarterback, UCLA

New city, new coach, same results. That has been the tagline for the Los Angeles Chargers this season, as they have brought their bad luck to Los Angeles from San Diego. This Chargers team is finding ways to lose, and had it not been for their rookie kicker missing big kicks the first two weeks, they could be 2-1 at this point. They were beaten pretty soundly by the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend, and it looks like another year in the cellar of the AFC West for the Bolts.

Quarterback Philip Rivers is still one heck of a player at the position, though he is starting to get up there in age. The team needs to start thinking about life after Rivers, and grabbing the future at the position in this draft class would be a smart way to go. There is a quarterback playing at nearby UCLA who fits that bill, and he would be a perfect fit for the Chargers.

Josh Rosen is having a monster season statistically, even if his team has dropped two bad games in a row. The signal-caller can rack up yards in bunches, and has great decision making abilities. The Chargers have some explosive players on the outside, including some new, young faces, so bringing in the future at the quarterback position appears to be the way to go at this point.
