1. Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

The fact that this game isn’t on Sunday or Monday night is a disgrace. This AFC West matchup is going to make for the best game of the week. We’ve got two teams neck and neck in the division, fighting to stay right behind the Chiefs in the standings. This is the most competitive division in all of football right now and the road to the playoffs is going to be a tricky one, which is why a win Sunday is crucial for both parties.

Much like the Ravens and Steelers, both the Raiders and Broncos come off tough losses on the road. The best way to cure their sorrows is a win against their division rivals and that’s the opportunity they’ll have on Sunday afternoon.

I’m excited to see how Derek Carr and the Raiders offense matchup against the Broncos defense. Can the offensive line keep Carr clean in the pocket against Von Miller and the pass rush? I’m also looking to see how Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper match up against the best secondary group in the NFL. They were nowhere to be found against the Redskins.

This is going to be a close game all throughout. It will ultimately get decided by the play of the quarterbacks. Whoever plays mistake free is going to come away with the win. It’s going to be a tougher task for Carr as he comes up against arguably the best defense in the NFL. The Broncos are virtually impossible to beat at home and I’ll take them in a close one on Sunday.
