4. D’Onta Foreman, Houston Texans

On Sunday against the Houston Texans, in a blowout win, Foreman had 13 carries for 45 yards. He has now posted double-digit touches in three straight games, and Texans’ head coach Bill O’Brien has said he views the rookie out of Texas as an every down back already.

Lamar Miller had 131 total yards (75 rushing) on 23 touches (four catches) and two total touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) on Sunday. But he has still averaged less than four yards per carry in three of four games so far this year, and he’s clearly on some level of notice with Foreman lingering in the background to steal touches.

Foreman is a high-end handcuff in fantasy more than anything right now, with little stand-alone value as long as Miller is healthy and fairly productive. But he is also a running back with a pulse, which is enough to make Foreman worth an add-and-stash in 12 and 14-team leagues.
