1. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints

Kamara led Saints’ running backs in snaps back in Week 1, with 31, and he had 38 total yards on 11 touches in his NFL debut. Week and Week 3 were down, outside of three catches in each contest, but Kamara upped the ante on Sunday.

Kamara had five carries for 25 yards against the Miami Dolphins in London on Sunday, but he also had 10 receptions (on 10 targets) for 71 yards and a touchdown in the game. Adrian Peterson has already been rendered useless to the Saints and fantasy owners over four games, and Kamara may be on his way to doing the same to Mark Ingram in due time.

After the game in London, Saints head coach Sean Payton suggested that one of his team’s three running backs would be the odd-man out each week. Peterson has been that guy, since he offers no versatility as a pass catcher, but it’s safe to say Kamara will not ever be the guy who’s effectively deactivated in uniform barring an emergency situation.

Next: NFL Mock Draft: Week 4

Kamara has a post-London bye coming in Week 5, should still be one of the top fantasy waiver wire adds this coming week with a great outlook for the rest of the season. He’s got a comparable skill set to Cook, however coincidentally, and Kamara belongs in the No. 1 spot on this list even though he can’t technically be used until Week 6.
