2. Derrick Henry

Last week, Henry was hyped up yet again and ready to finally take over carries from the veteran DeMarco Murray, who was struggling with a hamstring injury ahead of the game against the Seattle Seahawks.

However, Murray suited up and didn’t disappoint with 120 total yards from scrimmage and a fantastic 75 yards rushing touchdown that put the game to bed at the end of the third quarter.

One day, Henry will be the main man and take all of the carries, but as long as Murray is still around, he should see the bulk of them. That said, the difference between the two in terms of volume this season has likely been smaller than you think.

This weekend is another where Murray’s health is in question, and even when he did play last week, the split of carries was almost exactly even (Murray 14, Henry 13). In Week 2, Henry gained more carries than Murray.

Although Murray was the one to break the big run and had a huge fantasy game most recently, Henry is getting every opportunity to do the same. Now, when the Titans face the Texans, Henry is definitely going to be heavily involved even if Murray does suit up.
