Fantasy football Week 5 2017 rankings: Who to start and sit
Start: Duke Johnson
Home against the New York Jets. It’s been a tough start to the season for Isaiah Crowell and his owners will be extremely disappointed at the output so far. He only has 134 rushing yards on 46 carries (2.9 yards per carry average) and 50 yards through the air. He’s also still without a touchdown at all on the year. Instead, it’s been receiving back Duke Johnson who has excelled in fantasy scoring as the former Miami Hurricane had another nine catches last week to bring his total to 20-207 through the air.
This week, against the New York Jets, the Cleveland Browns will get back to the ground game as they look to expose a terribly weak Jets defense that has given up over 143 yards on the ground per game on average (29th in the NFL).
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette had major volume and ran all over the Jets for 84 yards and added an additional 59 yards and a score in the air. Although Crowell is still regarded as the “early-down back”, look for Johnson to be heavily involved this week as the team looks to get their first win on Sunday.
