Fantasy football Week 5 2017 rankings: Who to start and sit
Sit: Jared Goff
Few didn’t completely write off Jared Goff after an awful rookie season. After the addition of Sammy Watkins, there was huge potential for Goff, Todd Gurley and the rest of the Rams offense.
So far, it has come to fruition and the team has been one of the best offenses in the league. They are top five in total offense and passing yards per ga and lead the NFL in points scored with a whopping 35.5 per game. Sean McVay has worked wonders with his second-year QB and the whole of the offense, but it might not last forever.
Next up, the Rams welcome the Seattle Seahawks who are coming off a bounce-back win against Jacoby Brissett and the Indianapolis Colts. They stifled the Colts attack, limiting them to only 237 total yards and 139 in the air. You can be sure they’re going to bring their A game against Goff and NFC West division rivals Los Angeles. It’s going to be a great battle this Sunday afternoon, but Goff is not going to put up the numbers he did against Dallas and his ceiling is slightly more limited this week. You can find another solid veteran option to replace him with.
