The ESPN College GameDay crew headed to watch TCU and West Virginia throw down in Week 6, and here are the best GameDay signs from Fort Worth.
College football fans have most certainly become accustomed to the Saturday morning routine. You wake up, start cooking breakfast and then turn on ESPN’s College GameDay. It’s just habitual at this point for many fans. And it’s probably also the same for Lee Corso and company. In Week 6, their habit took them to Fort Worth to watch the TCU Horned Frogs take on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
This was a big day for GameDay and Corso. The man they call “Coach” on set came to Fort Worth ready to make his 300th Headgear pick. It’s a staple of the show and something many look forward to. But it’s a testament to Corso’s quality and longevity that he’s reached the 300 level at this point.
With that and a huge Big 12 matchup looming, the TCU fans were hyped up and ready to go. Subsequently, the GameDay signs had a little bit more fodder to work with. But did they deliver the goods when some weeks have been problematic this season in terms of quality signs?
