2. All the pressure is on Cleveland

While the Yankees have nothing to lose, the Indians, on the other hand, have everything to lose. From the 22-game winning streak during the regular season. Blowing a 3-1 series lead in last year’s World Series — and having essentially the same roster as last season. The Indians really don’t want to blow another series lead.

Cleveland could very well be trailing this series 2-1 if not for some heroics by Francisco Lindor and Jay Bruce. That was the same game their ace Corey Kluber was tagged for six runs in 2.2 innings, which has never happened before.

You wouldn’t think that the 13-inning game would take that much of a toll on the Indians, seeing as they had a day off, but you never know. It has to be in the back of their mind that they’re essentially in the same scenario they were last season.

They could lose Game 4 and still have the luxury of coming back home, but you know they really want to close this out in Yankee Stadium and not even give New York a chance to win the series in Cleveland.

The last thing the Indians want to do is give the “underdog” hope and the Yankees just might have that after they got to Andrew Miller, and Aroldis Chapman went out there with a cannon attached to his arm for a five out save.

Cleveland has to do everything in their power to keep the sky from crashing down on them, and that pressure could end up being their undoing.
