Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

At WWE Hell in a Cell, Sami Zayn shockingly aligned himself with Kevin Owens, by helping his long-time rival escape a leap of faith from Shane McMahon, off the top of Hell in a Cell. Zayn then placed Owens on McMahon and forced the referee to count the pinfall, since it was a Falls Count Anywhere match.

The Owens and Zayn friendship hasn’t been seen in WWE, as they’ve been rivals since their first day together in NXT. So, it will make for interesting television on SmackDown Live.

The best of Owens and Zayn comes through their heated rivalry and outstanding matches, though. This was seen in Ring of Honor, NXT, and the WWE main roster. Eventually, one of these superstars is going to turn on the other, so when that happens, why not take it to the WrestleMania stage? It’s the perfect setting for a loaded story of friendship, betrayal and some of the best wrestling matches in the 2010’s. The Mercedes-Benz Superdome seems like a good place for this, depending on how this story plays out for the next six months.

Raw Women’s Championship Match
Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss

Asuka’s reign of terror will begin on Raw at the TLC PPV, which takes place two weeks from Hell in a Cell. When she arrives, it will be difficult to keep her away from the Raw Women’s Championship. WWE might try this for the first month or two, but sooner than later, look for the Empress of Tomorrow to capture the title and have a long reign.

Going into WrestleMania 34, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Asuka hold the title. However, given her dominance, there will be multiple superstars after her. This could be Nia Jax, who’s looked strong in the fall and Alexa Bliss, arguably the face of the Raw Women’s division.

A Triple Threat match provides multiple obstacles for Asuka to overcome. Whether it’s Jax and Bliss or a different set of opponents, look for the deck to be stacked against her, only to look more dominant by the end of the show.
