The Cleveland Browns are terrible once again in 2017, and it looks like it is not going to get better anytime soon. On Sunday, they lost to the New York Jets at home, which is an embarrassment even by their standards. They have a ton of draft picks coming up in 2017 and 2018, so they need to make sure they get it right, or else it is going to be another generation of bad Browns football.
With their first of two first-round picks next April, the Browns should look to bring in the best player in college football. That player is Penn State running back Saquon Barkley, who may be the best running back prospect we have seen in the last ten years. He is a freak of nature for the Nittany Lions, who could be headed to the College Football Playoff this season.
Cleveland needs help all over their roster, but one thing is for certain in the AFC North, and that is that you have to run the football. Barkley would give them their best running back since Jim Brown, and enable the team to have a serious threat on the ground. The team spent a second-round pick on DeShone Kizer last year, and while he is struggling as a rookie, do not expect them to pull the plug just yet.
