Arden Key

Edge, LSU

The Chicago Bears fell to the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football, and now are sitting with only one win through the first five games of the season. One bright spot in the game was the fact that Bears fans got to see Mitchell Trubisky, who was making his first NFL start. The Bears traded up one spot to ensure getting Trubisky in the 2017 NFL Draft, and he certainly showed his potential against a good Minnesota Vikings defense.

With their first pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Chicago should look to bring in a difference maker on the defensive side of the ball. They have a ton of hole on their defense, so they should try to get the best overall defensive player. That player is going to be Arden Key, who is going to be an explosive player at the next level.

Key has incredible speed on the outside and gets the edge better than anybody in this draft class. The Bears need to get back to running the football and playing good defense, and Key would play a big role in them getting back to doing that. Trubisky should be fine with more experience, and running back Jordan Howard is great, so now its time to focus on the defense.
