Georgia Tech at No. 11 Miami

Kickoff: Saturday, Oct. 15, 3:30 PM, ABC

A matchup that nobody thought would’ve been great at the beginning of the season, happens to be one of the better games of the weekend.

Unranked Georgia Tech will head to Miami to play the Hurricanes, who are coming off of a last-second victory on the road against Florida State.

Three Things to Watch

1. Simple: Can the Hurricanes keep rolling?

Under Mark Richt this season, the Hurricanes have opened the year at 4-0, with no real threat of losing. Their best game of the season came this past weekend at Tallahassee against Florida State.

It took a last-minute drive from their quarterback, Malik Rosier, to be able to leave the game with a victory. If they keep playing the way they have these past four weeks, they should have no problem dismantling Georgia Tech.

2. Can Georgia Tech rush for 400 yards again?

Teams in college football like to have some semblance of balance between passing the ball and rushing the ball. In Georgia Tech’s case, they’re throwing for less than 100 yards per game while rushing for nearly 400 yards per game.

They need to find more balance but I doubt they’ll be able to rush for that total this weekend. TaQuon Marshall has been fantastic for the Yellow Jackets this season and if he continues to rush that way, they could have a big afternoon.

3. Can Miami be successful with all their injuries?

Top receiver Ahmmon Richards is listed as questionable while their starting right guard, safety, cornerback were all hurt against Florida State.

With all these injuries can Miami still prevail against Georgia Tech? I think they’ll be fine. They’re simply more talented and better coached across the board.
