1. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts

This is purely a swing for the fences type of play. I would only recommend this route if you’re comfortably near the top of your league because we have no idea when Luck will be back or how he will look when he does play. There’s simply no denying that Luck is the closest QB to Rodgers you could find and conceivably make a trade for. In some leagues, you don’t even need to make a trade. Luck is relatively low owned for a player of his pedigree.

When Luck returns, he comes back to guide an offense that doesn’t have much of a running game. Frank Gore is roughly 374 years old and Coach Chuck Pagano is not ready to give rookie Marlon Mack more usage as things stand. Luck will be leaning on WR T.Y. Hilton and could try to ignite WR Donte Moncrief. You can really only make this play if you feel like you can stream the QB position until Luck returns. It can be done in a 1 QB league. The easy stream is QB Jacoby Brissett, who is keeping the seat warm for Luck. Brissett has looked serviceable and even has some upside in the right matchup. He can add in a little on the ground and keep that floor up. The Luck gamble could bust out or pay off handsomely.
