Bradley Chubb

Edge, NC State

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL, but they certainly missed him in Week 6. Jameis Winston injured his shoulder early in the team’s 38-33 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, in a game where the defense did not come to play. If the Buccaneers are picking this early, the 2017 season was a disappointment, but they could get a solid defensive player in the top-10.

One such player is Bradley Chubb from NC State, who is one of the better edge rushers in college football. Chubb has led the Wolfpack to the top of the ACC this season and has really raised his draft stock in the process. The Buccaneers could use some young talent along their defensive line, and they do not come much better than Chubb.

The odds are the Bucs will be picking at least near the middle of the first round, so they may not be able to get a pass rusher like Chubb that late. Chubb has turned himself into quite the playmaker on defense during his time on campus and has really taken advantage of his final season of college football. He is going to be a great pro, and it will be because he got better every year playing for the Wolfpack, and has earned everything he has accomplished.
