Tipoff from the American Airlines Center in Dallas will be at 8:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 20. NBC Sports California will carry the Kings telecast in the Greater Sacramento area. FOX Sports Southwest will broadcast the Mavericks broadcast in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The available live streams for this game can be found on NBA League Pass and on FuboTV.
Sacramento lost a close one during its home opener on Wednesday night to the Houston Rockets, 105-100. The Kings had their shot at clipping the Rockets coming off a back-to-back, but were unsuccessful in that endeavor. Sacramento is not expected to contend for a playoff spot in the Western Conference this year. However, the team will compete hard for second-year head coach Dave Joerger with a new look roster.
Dallas too dropped its home opener on Wednesday night to the Atlanta Hawks, 117-111. This is not a season that the Mavericks will likely contend for a playoff spot either. However, it was nice to see No. 9 overall pick in point guard Dennis Smith Jr. make his NBA debut in Dallas. Look for head coach Rick Carlisle to coach the you know what out of this kid this season.

With this game being in Dallas, it makes sense that the Mavericks are laying points to the Kings. However, this is a game where Sacramento can definitely win on the road. Dallas isn’t a great team either. This will be an effort game. Whoever gives more will probably win.
