To kick off WWE RAW on Monday night, some huge matches for Survivor Series were announced.

With WWE TLC now out of the way and the month of November approaching, it’s time to get set for one of the biggest shows of the year, Survivor Series. The company didn’t waste any time Monday night letting us know just what’s in store for us.

To kick off the show in Green Bay, Wisconsin Monday night, RAW general manager Kurt Angle went to the ring and broke the news that this year’s Survivor Series event will be filled with inter-promotional matches with champions facing off with one another.

On Nov. 19, we’ll see RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss take on SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Natalya, Intercontinental Champion The Miz will take on United States Champion Baron Corbin and RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will be up against SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions The Usos. And, of course, it was officially revealed by Angle that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will face WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

WWE has made great effort recently in making the “Big 4” pay-per-views feel like a big deal, and they’re going out of their way to make sure Survivor Series has a special feel to it. With the brands not really mixing with one another all that much since the brand split last year, these are some intriguing matches to look forward to next month.

In addition to these bouts that were revealed on RAW, Angle also stated that there will be two traditional Survivor Series 5-on-5 elimination matches, one for the men and one for the women, featuring RAW against SmackDown Live.

So, for the next few weeks, it’ll be interesting each week to see how they build to all of these matches that will take place in Houston at Survivor Series.
