Christian Wilkins

Defensive Tackle, Clemson

Last April, the Cleveland Browns traded away one of their first-round spot to the Houston Texans in exchange for their first-round pick in 2018. With that pick, the Texans selected Deshaun Watson, who has proven to be one of the better rookies in the NFL this season. The Browns have to be thinking they missed the boat once again by trading away that pick, but the good news is they should be able to get two solid players in the first round in 2018.

Cleveland is likely to have the first overall pick, and they should bring in a quarterback with that selection. With their second pick, the team should look to add to their defensive line, where it appears they hit a home run with Myles Garrett in the last draft. Christian Wilkins in the best defensive tackle prospect in this draft class, and he would team nicely with Garrett to give the Browns a formidable tandem up front on defense.

The Browns have a long way to go, and they actually looked worse than expected this season. With so many picks over the next two drafts, they should be able to at least put a competitive team on the field in the coming years. Wilkins is a legitimate prospect and could go even earlier than No. 15, but he would be one heck of a steal if the Browns can get him with the Texans pick in the middle of the first round.
