The Buffalo Bills will have two picks in the first round next April, as they swung a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs on draft night last April. Many did not expect the Bills to be this good, this fast, as first-year head coach Sean McDermott has this team playing with purpose. They are currently a Wildcard team in the AFC, and with a suddenly stout secondary, they may actually make a run towards a division championship this season.

When it comes to the defense, the secondary has stood out this season, playing very well against some elite quarterbacks. The defense could use some help in the middle level of their defense, and Malik Jefferson from Texas is the best inside linebacker this draft class has to offer. The best part about Jefferson is he could also play on the outside, as he has the speed to get the edge whenever his number is called.

Buffalo is building something special, and that is a good sign for a fan base that has not been to the playoffs since the 1990s. The Bills have some of the best fans in the world, and with a solid quarterback at the helm, they should win more than they lose. McDermott has taken his first gig and run with it, and the people living in Western New York have to be happy with who the organization selected to run the team in the latest era of Bills football.
