Jim Mora

, UCLA

The UCLA Bruins started out the season in style with a 35-point comeback win over the Texas A&M Aggies. That is likely the win that saved head coach Jim Mora’s job in Week 1. However, UCLA has been up and down since the victory over the Aggies.

Mora has shown resilience with his back against the wall this season, keeping UCLA at least in contention to easily make a bowl game. The fact that he is on one of the hottest seats in the country is entertaining enough. Let alone that he receives so much exposure nationally.

This is one of the coaches that might not have his job anymore by the end of the season. Only winning out would mean that Mora has a considerable amount of job security. UCLA has been a consistently underachieving program over the past few seasons. Yet, Mora seems to keep producing entertaining products on the field.

Mora managed to recruit superstar quarterback Josh Rosen to come and play in Pasadena. Before that, Mora had current Green Bay Packers starting quarterback (due to the injury to Aaron Rodgers) Brett Hundley.

As a head coach that has NFL experience in the past, Mora knows what he has to do to keep his job. However, few coaches smile more and seem to stay in a more positive mood than Mora. He seems to keep the right attitude toward rough situations when they present themselves.
