The Seahawks and Texans put on an instant classic on Sunday afternoon. Who came out on top in Seattle in the Week 8 battle?

The Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans went at it in the perfect football game on Sunday, and fans were treated to a home victory in an absolute shootout in Week 8.

In the end, the Seahawks pulled off the crazy, last-minute comeback to win the game 41-38 over a very game Deshaun Watson and his Texans offense. Russell Wilson threw for four touchdowns on the day, and made it look easy for the Seahawks offense as they came back for the victory.

This game had endless highlights to pick from, and you can check out the seemingly never-ending touchdowns that the two teams traded as the game went along on both sides of the ball. Watch a few of the highlights below, and try not to lose your breath in the process.

Three Stars

1. Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson went off today for the Seahawks, simple enough. He threw for four touchdowns, over 450 yards and had an incredible last minute comeback to deliver a touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham to give his team a huge 41-38 win at home. If that’s not the perfect performance, I don’t know what is.

2. Deshaun Watson

Unfortunately, Deshaun Watson had almost the perfect game under center for the Texans, with four touchdowns of his own to counter against Wilson. However, a couple of key interceptions were big daggers against Watson, and his team couldn’t pull out the victory on the road despite a late lead.

3. Paul Richardson

The Seahawks wide receiver hauled in a pair of big touchdown catches for the team’s offense, and added in an incredible grab to help set up the Seahawks offense for the Wilson-to-Graham touchdown for the win. Without him, this huge victory probably doesn’t happen, and he deserves some recognition for the team.

Odds

The Seahawks were favored by -4.5 heading into the game, according to Sportsbook Review, and unfortunately just missed the spread as they squeaked by with the win at home.

Next Week

The Seahawks will go on to play the Redskins at home in Week 9 to get rolling on the second half of the season after their huge win, while the Texans will battle the Colts at home to try and bounce back.
