Bradley Chubb

Edge, NC State

The Detroit Lions are one of the only teams in their division to not lose their starting quarterback yet, as Matthew Stafford has remained upright this season. However, it has not equated to wins, and they currently find themselves outside of the playoffs looking in. They have an opportunity to get back on track in a big way on Monday night in Week 9, as they take on the Green Bay Packers.

With their first pick next April, the Lions should look to bring in some help on the defensive line. Their unit up front on that side of the ball is getting older, and they need help getting after the passer. Bradley Chubb from North Carolina State is a dominant pass rusher, and with some talented players around him, could wind up being a Rookie of the Year candidate in Detroit.

The NFC North is wide open, and with the talent on their roster, the Lions could make a run at it the rest of the way. If that happens, there is no chance they get Chubb, as he is a definite top-15 pick. However, if he does wind up going to Detroit, the fans would love him, as he plays with the kind of passion they have come to expect from the guys up front on defense.
