Ronnie Harrison

Defensive Back, Alabam

The Dallas Cowboys put together the best regular season record in the NFL last season, and earned themselves the top spot in the NFC Playoffs. This season, they have had some ups and downs, but they earned a big road divisional victory against the Washington Redskins last weekend. However, they got some bad news on Monday, as it appears Ezekiel Elliott’s six-game suspension is back on, leaving them without their best offensive weapon.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Cowboys have been better this season, even after losing a ton of talent to free agency. They do still need help in the secondary, and bringing in a player like Ronnie Harrison from Alabama could help them there. Harrison might be the best true safety in this draft class, and the Cowboys could certainly benefit from having him roaming the middle of the defensive backfield.

The Cowboys losing Elliott is going to hurt, as it is now up to Dak Prescott to do even more under center. The Philadelphia Eagles are the class of the NFC, so if the Cowboys want to get back to the playoffs, they will likely have to do so as a Wildcard. Do they have enough talent without Zeke to make a run? Only time will tell, but they could be picking around this spot next April if they cannot finish the job.
