Christian Kirk

Wide Receiver, Texas A&M

The Los Angeles Rams have been one of the pleasant surprises of the NFL season, as they currently are in first place in the NFC West. They have to look out, however, as the Seattle Seahawks are playing great football right now as well. This division is going to go down to the wire, and there is no writer out there who could have predicted the Rams would be in first place eight weeks into the season.

One of the biggest reasons for the turnaround has been the play of Jared Goff, who was taken by the team with the first overall selection in 2016. Goff has made serious strides under first year head coach Sean McVay, and the future suddenly looks bright for the Rams. With their first round pick in April, they should look to bring in another weapon on offense, and Christian Kirk would be a nice grab here.

Some have Kirk going in the top-10 of the draft, and he could certainly wind up there when all is said and done. However, if he does fall in the first round, and wide receivers sometimes do, latching on with the Rams would be a great fit for him. Kirk would give Goff a legitimate WR1 for at least the next five years, and that would give them quite a core of offensive weapons when you add Todd Gurley.
