FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 2, 2017
High Salary & Value PG
Damian Lillard, POR vs LAL ($9,800): Lillard enters Thursday on a hot streak, with three straight games over 44 fantasy points peaking with a 61 fantasy point effort against the Jazz on Wednesday. He’s on the second half of a back-to-back, but if he’s in the zone there’s nothing this Lakers team can really do to slow him down. ****
Stephen Curry, GS at SA ($9,500): Curry has scored more than 42 fantasy points in seven straight games, and is coming off his best game of the season with a 54 fantasy point effort earlier this week against the Clippers. Much like Lillard, when Curry’s shot is working like it is now there’s not a lot the defense can do to stop him. ****
Lonzo Ball, LAL at POR ($7,000): Ball is going through talented rookie growing pains as he tries to find his level in the league. As such, he’s got a wide variance of outcomes possible on a given night. He could struggle to 18.4 fantasy points like he did in Utah two ames ago, or he could explode for 54.7 fantasy points like he did against the Suns in the second game of the season. He’s been a bit cooler of late, averaging a bit less than 25 fantasy points in his last three outings, so his expected value is probably upper 20s to low 30s of fantasy points, at best, for Thursday. ***
Dejounte Murray, SA vs GS ($4,600): Murray started off the season strong, but over the last week has struggled with two games under 12 fantasy points and two in the low 20s of fantasy points. He has 30+ fantasy point potential, Manu Ginobili is sitting to rest, and thus far Patty Mills ($3,400) hasn’t done much this season, so the door is open for Murray to produce, it’s just not the most likely outcome. **
